Learning as I Go

Hello!

My name is Vicky Lynn,
I love God and am so thankful he blessed me with the family and close friends that I have. My family is not just made up of blood relations, but the people whom I treasure and treasure me in return. I guess you could call my family "beautifully and disfunctionally blessed"! We are not normal in any way, but we love each other with kindness, understanding, gentleness and respect. And would do anything at anytime when needed!

I have loved crochet almost all my life. I also enjoy crafting anything that I can figure out a plan for in my head. I'm very visual, if I can picure it in my head I can usually do it. Sometimes it's a pretty good success and sometimes not so much.
I really love cooking also, I'm no chef, but I do call myself a mad scientist in the kitchen, lol.

I have wanted to try this blog thing for a while now, but never had the courage.
But with recent losses of loved ones this year, I figure I might as well give it a try.
One thing you definitely discover when facing the loss of loved ones is just how precious and short life really is. So why not try new things, either it's great or its not. Either way, we never know til we try.

A warning, I'm terrible with punctuation, English was not my best subject in school. So please overlook my errors. And also, I have been given the nickname of being " an Edith", which means when I tell a story, I may go miles and miles away from the point, but eventually I get there.

I hope to share crafty things, funny stories, life lessons and hopefully so much more!

It will be a little slow going at first, and I may stumble a little, but just remember,
"I'm learning as I go"!

May you be blessed in all things,
                                         Vicky Lynn ♡

"Baby Peanut" My first Grandchild-to-be, whom we lost in January and would have been arriving on 08/13/2015.

My ex Father- in-law Bronzie on 06/17/2015, whom I had known since I was 7 years old and loved like a dad. He was the best grandfather to my son's and was always so good to me.

My Uncle Dennis on 06/28/2015, who was my favorite uncle and always had time for us kids.
